The South East Australian Basketball League (SEABL) is by far the most competitive basketball league competition of all the Australian Basketball Association (ABA) league member associations. The SEABL has provided most of the ABA national champions while also producing and signing both domestic and imported players to the elite National Basketball League (NBL) competition.

N.B To qualify for SEABL / ABA 1 player rankings, players must conform to international standards
as adopted by basketball organizations around the world, including Australia's NBL, the USA NBA
and the NCAA. For all statistical catergories players must have played a minimum of 75% of their
teams games. For shooting percentages, players must have made a minimum of 5 field goals per game,
1.5 three point field goals per game and 2.5 free throws per game to qualify for the respective categories.
